Excellent site for a family trip, very welcoming.
Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Great campsite - loved the pizza nights, the friendly welcome by Kate and Stig, the location - wildflower meadows, forest, quiet camping spots - the kids could run free.
The communal kitchen with indoor area is great for adverse weather and the toilets, tooth brushing area and showers are ideal.
Great location for exploring local beaches and close enough to Dundee for a day out in the city.
From the manager: Thank you for your lovely review review Clare. A ten * review really makes our day. We had a great time hosting and making pizza with you! Come again soon! K&S

Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Beautiful setting within wild flower meadows. We saw swifts swooping and diving over the meadows, feeding on insects. The site is surrounded by agriculture and there’s a wood to explore too. Kids loved the art shack and the pizza making.
From the manager: Thank you so much Claire. We loved having you here. Haste ye back! K&S

Hobbit House cabin
Liked Nice friendly people/staff
Had activities on site (Pizza making, escape room and colouring den)
Disliked The weather spent more off site due to it

Fantastic stay at this wonderful site
Primitive grass tent campsite (adults only)
Liked Fantastic site , where you can just switch off and relax , so well laid out . Keeping cars in the car park and off site is a big bonus as you don’t have to worry about vehicles passing closely by your tent.
The pizza is a must!
The site owners are so helpful and accommodating and work tirelessly throughout the day, the site is a credit to them and their hard work.
Loved the solar showers so warm !
Look forward to visiting again. John and Tracey

Excellent site with large pitches, clean facilities and friendly staff
Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked I had a very lovely stay here. We were greeted by the very friendly man in charge who took us for a lovely wee tour of the site. The pitches sizes were huge which was great and there were lots of nearby water taps. The compost toilets were very clean and good looking and helped give the campsite a wild, environmentally friendly feel to it. Very much enjoyed my stay and would definitely consider returning for a longer visit.
From the manager: Thanks you for your lovely review. We are glad you enjoyed your stay and would love to welcome you again! Kate & Stig
Friendly owners, great location and full of wild life.
Primitive grass tent campsite (adults only)
Liked The location was really good, perfect site set up with good sized pitches. Even the eco toilets etc were well looked after. The owners Stig and Kate helped us so much with a few issues we had and were always on hand if anything else went wrong.
Disliked Showers were a little cramped being 6ft but that is just splitting hairs
From the manager: Thanks for your lovely review. We enjoyed hosting you and beautiful Marshmellow the cat. Do come again soon!
A wonderful, wild, human- and wildlife friendly campsite.
Primitive grass tent campsite (adults only)
Liked A wonderful site. Got a personal tour of the facilities on arrival, there's a separate quiet field for campers without kids, which is rewilded meadow so lots of birds and butterflies everywhere.
Freshly fired pizza on-site for dinner on a Saturday night too!
Will definitely be back.
refreshing alternative camping
Bell tent
Liked Great vibes on this campsite! With solar showers, rewilding areas full of wildlife, alternative buildings and composting toilets a wonderful place to enjoy a holiday! Parking is away from the tents and barrows for transport, it keeps it wonderfully unspoilt. Due to the weather and availability we were upgraded to a Hobbit House, it was a perfect stay 🥰
Disliked Low doorposts of house and toilets, which was more of a problem for my tall husband though 😆
