  • Adults-only site with direct access to bridleways onto Salisbury Plain
  • A 10-minute drive from Stonehenge and 25 minutes from Longleat
  • Shop and pub a short walk away; equestrian facilities for horses
Setting sail in search of the stone circle at Stonehenge or perhaps Cranborne Chase’s river valleys and ancient woodlands? A 10-minute drive from Stonehenge and 25 minutes from Longleat with the Cranborne Chase Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty six miles south, Hoopers Farm Camping is an adults-only escape in the grounds of a Grade II-listed house. Set back from the road, this is a peaceful and private-feeling place to stay with easy access. At the same time, the site is still close to the facilities in the local village. Handily, Tilshead has a small food shop, garage and pub five minutes’ walk away from the site. Those of you who have horses and dogs will be happy to find that the site welcomes both. There are paddocks, a menage and equestrian facilities where you may take care of any horses. The site also has direct access to bridleways onto the Salisbury Plain, as well as off-road cycling tracks and byways. You should feel pretty at home here, as the owner extends a warm welcome with convenient facilities for you to use during your stay. These include wifi and a toilet block and for those of you who are looking to get your cooking game on, barbecues are permitted here too.
