Premier powered grass tent or RV campsite (Private restroom amenities)
Liked What a gem!
Huge pitch, spotless facilities, everything you need and perfectly placed to explore the local area.
Great signal for mifi.
Fully fenced in pitch which meant our reactive dogs could be off lead and safe.
Big sky's and lovely views, watching the stars appear around the firepit at night was a treat.
Would most definitely return, loved it.

Great stop off for the price.
Primitive grass tent or RV campsite
Liked Good friendly communications. Spacious level pitch. Spotless toilets and showers. Plenty of footpaths and bridleways nearby. Dogs on leads policy. Good price.
Disliked No hot water for washing up. Grass a bit long on the actual pitches. Got approached by another camper's scary dog not under control and barked at, so on-lead rule not followed. Shower OK but not very hot.

Powered grass tent or RV campsite
Liked Lovely large pitches, each with own fire pit and brilliantly unique own wash up stations! Great stay and a fabulous refurbished horse box for toilet/shower facilities.
Quiet site, easy to find and not far from the town centre.
Definitely would recommend and stay again.
Disliked Toilets were a little too dark at night time and a few rather large spiders that my daughter was petrified about but nothing really to complain about.

Hobbit house microlodge
Liked The amazing wild garden, the fire pit (starting fires in it was super quick and easy), the birds visiting, proximity to lovely country lanes and villages. A wonderful combination of having amenities but feeling like I was living in the woods. Very friendly and informative welcome.
Disliked There was a little more traffic noise than I would have liked in a perfect world. Otherwise, it was wonderful.

From the manager: Elaine,
I always see an 8/10 as a bad review so not really understanding being marked down on the things you highlighted as features you specifically liked - on both visits.
