What customers say
This adult-only site offers a peaceful rural escape with great views. Guests love the friendly hosts, relaxed vibe, and excellent value. Facilities are basic but clean. It's perfect for exploring Glastonbury and Wells. Some found facilities dated, and a few noted noise or needed leveling blocks.

Great place with a view of…

Liked Great place with a view of Glastonbury Tor; fine "kitchen" area with a fridge
Disliked Having to call a phone number on arrival. The number didn't work for foreign/international phones, which is an inconvenient solution and often costs extra money.

Will definitely return as it was such a lovely chilled out site.
Primitive grass tent or RV campsite
Liked This is a very remote campsite but set in beautiful countryside.
Toilets which are mixed sex and showers - 1 male and 1 female seemed more than adequate and the site was quite full. The toilets are kept well stocked with paper, handwashing and paper towels. The showers are old but they have a stool and a number of hooks and a shower that stays on!
Washing up area is outside and there are 2 sinks and there was a queue last night there but everyone was happy chatting to their neighbours whilst waiting. Good selection of recycling bins.
Veronica met us on arrival and she gave us a choice of pitches for our motorhome and we chose to be under the trees as it was 30-34 degrees and so glad we did. There was plenty of room around the pitch so neighbours were not too close.
You do need a torch for once it’s dark if you wish to use the toilets but we were prepared.
Disliked Nothing really - due to heat we didn’t venture out of campsite but if cooler we would have walked to the nearest pub which is just over a mile away. It is situated on a country road but this is relatively quiet.
