Powered grass and gravel RV campsite

Liked: Lovely campsite with great facilities. Very obviously a new site but very well done. Great games room, park and facilities for all including fire pits and bbqs

Disliked: Pitches aren’t specific so ended up with a camper facing in to ours which wasn’t great. We like our own space.

Powered grass and gravel tent or trailer tent campsite

Liked: We were regulars before the new owners took over. Wow what a difference!! Really makes a difference having the electric hook up, very handy. Appreciated the extra bathrooms, showers and wash stations. All kept very clean and tidy. Kids enjoyed the games room especially the arcade game. Free wifi, i didnt use it but the kids did and it worked to the end of the orchard. We liked that we could buy drinks from the club house and warm up whilst playing table tennis as it was a bit cold this time of year late at night. New owners are very kind and very helpful. Perfect base for longleat.

Disliked: Slightly missed the option to use the grass to play games as now all allocated pitches with gravel road in the middle. Pitches are a really good size but we were just not used to being so close to other campers. It would not put us off rebooking though. It's like all things, when it's so different to what you're used too it takes time to adjust but we really like it there and will be back!

Powered grass and gravel tent or trailer tent campsite

Liked: We loved how clean the facilities all were. The bathrooms were spacious and the family bathrooms were a great option. We liked all the little touches that made things so much easier such as the sponges and washing up liquid left by the sinks and the electric kettle available.

Disliked: Our only negative was the amount of sound early in the morning from the main road. Although this cannot be helped and the site was amazing at giving us a heads up about it. It was the only thing that we could fault.

Powered grass and gravel RV campsite

Liked: Friendly owner.

Disliked: The field adjacent to the site is next to a very busy noisy road. We spent four nights here and for two solid days (from 8.00am-8.00pm), the field adjacent on the other side of this small site, a huge digger, used in a full scale construction site, was in use, creating the most horrendous noise. This was not the quiet chilled relaxed stay we envisaged.

Crabby Apple cabin

Liked: The Crabby Apple was perfect for our 2 night stay, I loved that it had all the essentials like a kettle, cups, tea, coffee and sugar. It also had bowls and plates etc. The bed was comfortable and it was perfect for me and my little girl, who especially loved the park right outside and the games room. The grounds of the campsite are really well maintained, and beautifully set out with parking spaces next to each pitch and it's all enclosed with a lock code entry and exit system, totally safe for letting the little ones run around without worrying. The toilet and shower areas are very clean and spacious. The additional sinks and wash areas are also very clean and well maintained. Although the cabin we stayed in was the smallest it was perfect for us. The 2 bigger cabins next to us were occupied and we got talking to the lovely families who stayed there and got to see inside and they were also lovely with bunk beds and couches, I would love to stay again and go for one of the bigger ones. The families onsite camping around us were also very friendly and my daughter made lots of friends with the other kids who all enjoyed playing together in the amazing park you have, (which is better than most of the public parks we have back home) all in all we loved our stay and would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a lovely peaceful, beautifully looked after and friendly campsite to stay at, either as a couple or a family with children. Thank you to our lovely hosts for having us, can't wait to stay again in the future

Disliked: There wasn't anything we disliked. Everything was perfect.

Powered grass and gravel tent or trailer tent campsite

Liked: Simply the cleanest, tidiest, neatest, most well organised campsite we’ve ever stayed at. Very good, clear communication. Wi-fi was easy to connect to, and was fast. Didn’t drop at all. Hot water was immediate. Wash facilities were excellent. Clearly marked pitches, with enough room to feel private, whilst part of the community.

Disliked: The nearby road noise is significant. Didn’t matter during the day, but certainly affected our sleep.
