What customers say
Clean, friendly site with excellent amenities, like a heated indoor pool & well-stocked shop. Staff are praised as helpful and welcoming. Great for Cheddar Gorge & Wells. Pitches are good-sized & level. On-site bar/restaurant offers good value. Some dated facilities, but highly recommended.

Cabin (pet friendly)
Liked The glamping cabin was good and well equipped, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Great views over the Somerset levels.
Disliked Felt overcrowded and claustrophobic, with no obvious nighttime curfew. Unfortunately, some campers left litter and couldn’t be bothered cleaning up after their dogs!
Limited facilities, e.g., not football pitch/ basketball nets, for older children and no obvious walks/ dog friendly areas.

Tor View primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite (no pets)
Liked Great location for us visiting wookey hole and cheddar gorge. Camp site was very clean and tidy, toilets and showers very clean and presentable with plenty-of hot water in the showers. Well stocked site shop with friendly staff. Bar and swimming pool also great. All round 10/10 for us. And will defiantly return
Disliked No dislikes from us. Happy and pleased with staff and amenities

Excellent site, great location, well kept, with great views
Tor View primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite (no pets)
Liked We picked the site for its proximity to Cheddar Gorge and the South Coast, we stayed as a stopover and stayed on the tor view field (likely named because of its view of the Glastonbury Tor) and were really impressed with the site the field was great for stargazing and watching the sunset. The owners have done a great job with such a compact site. The site had all we needed,As inexperienced campers, and it was good to be on a site with amenities, the toilets and shower block were well kept, there is an accessible bathroom and dish washing room, a laundry room and a small shop for camping essentials, a range of groceries and a bar/restaurant. The pool which was a good size too. We would definitely return in the future.
Disliked The pool and pool area needed a clean with broken toys and piles of hair on the side, there was also hair in the pool floating around and tissue. The pool was filtered but the water cloudy (most likely from the constant summer usage) however it needed treating more often to clear the water. WIFI didn’t reach the camping field.
