Liked: Lovely quiet campsite. The yurt type tent we hired was immaculate and cosy. Beds and bedding proved. Fire pit provided as well as a picnic bench. Camping toilet provided in a separate tent just for our use. Owner popped down to say hello and was very helpful. Beach was only 30 minutes away.
Disliked: There was not a lot to do in the area. But it didn't really matter as everything we wanted to do was only 30 mins away. Such as the beaches, Cheddar Gorge etc.

Liked: We were absolutely privileged to stay at Steve and Donna's little slice of heaven. Steve met us upon arrival, he gave us info on the local area, including a lovely walk along the canal. The kids thought the compost loo was fantastic and now want to build one in the garden. There was plenty of space for them to run around and play. The the night sky was absolutely phenomenal. Astronomy buffs must check out this spot. We saw many constellations in perfect clarity, as well as planets, and lots of shooting stars. We will definitely be packing the telescope and proper camera on our next visit, as our phone camera couldn't do it justice. Steve and Donna couldn't have been more welcoming, we shall definitely be staying with them again 😀
Disliked: That we didn't book for longer.

Liked: Steve was an excellent host and couldn't have been more welcoming and friendly. The unexpected highlight of the trip was getting to meet and feed some of his animals. The kids are still talking about that! The campsite is in a really peaceful, rural setting and there are lots of birds and wildlife to spot on the many nearby walks. It is also easily accessible from the motorway and easy to arrange day trips to the nearby beach resorts.
