Liked: Very safe site for the children, they loved exploring and getting in the lake every day. Fire pits allowed which is always a bonus. Lovely cafe too.
Disliked: Could do with a couple more toilets and showers but other than that the site was perfect.

Primitive grass campsite
Liked: We stayed for 2 nights as a large group (16 children aged 3-11) and 14 adults! We had a great time, we were allowed to pitch together and had plenty of space to do so, on the level pitch. Staff were on site if needed, and the cafe was lush next to the beautiful lake!
Disliked: Possibly some cleaning products in the toilets, kept up high, just so you can freshen it up after the person before you has been in! An additional toilet and shower would be great, but the 2 of each that are there are more than adequate!
