Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked: It was very convenient being a few minutes walk from the entrance to the farm. We were extremely lucky with the weather the first night, so it was a great opportunity for my 5 year old to roam around, play and explore. Very friendly and welcoming staff.
Disliked: The toilets were rancid, didn't go in the shower so not sure what that was like. We were due to have an animal visit to the campsite from the barn at 8.30am which my son was looking forward to, sadly that didn't happen. Also the road noise was surprisingly loud from the A354 (I think).

Liked: Gorgeous spacious field right by the red deer. Basic but clean and well kept facilities. Lovely, friendly staff as always. We had the best time, thank you! Will be back in August!!! xx
Disliked: Would like to be able to have a camp fire but understand why they're not allowed as the fields are beautifully maintained.

Liked: Quiet, lots of space, safe. Lovely for the kids to have the pony visit in the morning and the breakfast was delicious
Disliked: I was not impressed by the loos having no water and no alcohol gel, only some soap. The showers are a cold bag of water. So don't expect much from this. Otherwise great!

Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked: Very quiet and generally clean site, staff were super friendly and helpful but also left to your own devices. The pony coming round in the morning was a lovely touch. The farm park itself is so good for kids.
Disliked: The only main problem I had is when I booked it, the site said it had toilets and showers. Although this is true, portaloos with no running water to clean hands was something I was not expecting. The other thing was the showers. The showers were "eco-showers", bags heated by the sun, and they really weren't good at all. I wouldn't mind so much if this is was what I was expecting, but the advert made it appear like there was shower blocks. Had I known this (I've just read other reviews which say the same thing, so my bad for not reading them) I probably would have chosen a different campsite. Otherwise a very good site

Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked: This was such a fun and rustic campsite. It felt like true camping out in a big field. Our two children loved it and made loads of friends. They loved being close to a gorgeous herd of deer. It was also lovely being so close to the farm for a fun day out. And being woken with a visit from a horse each morning was so exciting for our kids.

Liked: Friendly staff, lovely how they bring a pony for patting to the tents in the mornings.
Disliked: Not a dislike as such, but as it’s primarily not a year long round campsite, there are only portable toilets and eco showers, which it does state when you book. But as we only stayed for two nights, it’s okay.
