What customers say

Beautiful, peaceful, well-kept site in a stunning rural spot. Praised for clean facilities, spacious sites, and wildlife. Limited phone signal & narrow lane access noted, but many love the tranquil, back-to-basics vibe. Great for a relaxing getaway.

Primitive grass campsite

Liked Lovely area. If you take the time you will see and hear a lot of birds.
Nice that there is somewhere to put your freezer blocks. Nice touch hair dryer available and somewhere to charge mobile phones.

Disliked Showers and the toilet shower area could be cleaner. There are 3 showers in the female and 2 in the me s is inadequate for the amount of pitches.
WiFi was terrible.

Primitive grass campsite

Liked Fabulous campsite, in a great location so visited twice in some may weeks. We enjoyed our stay at South Allington, showers and washing facilities we're clean and tidy. Plenty to see and do, close enough to Salcombe for a day out and plenty of beautiful coves and small beaches. The closest pub The Pigs Nose at East Prawle has great food (book well in advance, online to eat in) also has a fish & chip and pizza takeaway if your stuck.

Disliked No nearby shops and very little mobile reception. Great if you need a total break from the modern world.

Primitive grass campsite

Liked We liked the Location and the Campsite had all the facilities which were kept clean . Lanes on approach can be narrow but that's Devon for you . . Finally quite at ngt and you could here the owls / and see the bats flying over the pond . . Lovely place in heart of country side and would recomend and return . .

Disliked Had 4 ngts of idiots that had total disrespect of other campers stopping up til late early hrs 12.30 am / 2.30 am just being loud and annoying . . The quite hrs were posted 10.00pm til 8.00am and obviously everyone else complied but they were just special . . But us British too polite to complain lol . .
