Bell tent
Liked: The ease of arriving and everything already set up was fantastic. Loved that there was a food van on site (although a little pricey) lots of space with in and around the tent
Disliked: The pitch was on a very slight slope so had to move the beds around so the children didn’t roll off

Bell tent
Liked: Me and my partner had no faults with the bell tent! I had booked this back in January 2022 for his birthday in July, and I added a comment on the booking page to ask if they could decorate the tent and not to worry if they couldn't - and they did! They had put balloons around the tent, I wasn't expecting it at all; It was really lovely and it made his birthday a bit more special. The price was fair I believe - we stayed for two nights and you have a bed made up for you when you arrive (which was so comfortable to sleep on!) and inside the tent you have a basket full of cutlery, cups, glasses and plates. You have everything there to have a BBQ and to make yourself a cup of tea. We found it really handy that we could park the car next to the tent as well, we didn't need to carry our luggage far. We forgot to bring camping chairs, but luckily they had two ready to use in the bell tent! It's only a 8-10 minute drive to Woolacombe beach as well, so it was perfect for surfing and bodyboarding. Unfortunately on one of the nights we had a storm, so you could really hear the wind and rain battering the tent - but the tent was so stable, it wasn't really moving; if anything we found it quite cozy. On our first night the sky was so clear, there was no light pollution in the area so you could see all the stars and the milky way. Another thing we liked as well was the food shack - we had a lovely breakfast before we went down to the beach. You can also pre-order a stone-baked pizza, but we missed out on doing this. If you're staying at the campsite for surfing/bodyboarding they put information out on the weather, the tidal times and the waves at the food shack too so you know what to expect before you go. The site itself was lovely - the toilets and showers were always kept clean, the staff were really helpful and easy to talk to. There is so much space in the field and even though it was busy, it was spaced out well so no one could disturb you. They also had good signal in the area so you could use your phones if you needed to. All in all, I would definitely recommend this campsite to family and friends.
Disliked: The only thing my partner disliked was how bright the tent can be in the early hours of the morning. This could be avoided if you bring a sleeping mask - we forgot ours!

Liked: Tent was lovely and pretty well equipped. The farm was lovely and quiet. Showers were nice as were toilets. Lovely village with two great pubs that served lovely food.
Disliked: Inability to walk to beach realistically with surf boards or body boards etc.

Bell tent
Liked: The tent and site met and exceeded all expectations. The tents are the perfect size and the bed really comfy. Was also great having a fridge in the tent. I dealt with James from Canvas and Coast who was super helpful and great to deal with. Jean and John who own the campsite were also charming and were lovely to meet. The eggs were bought were brilliant. The site was also nice and quiet so a perfect place to relax. Enjoyed seeing the chickens pottering around. We popped into a local pub 'The Kings Arms', which I would definitely recommend. Staff were very welcoming and the food was gorgeous.

Bell tent
Liked: Spacious bell tent with BBQ, BBQ utensils, cutleries, chairs and picnic table. The tent was waterproof and very strongly pitched. Although there was a storm on first night but the tent stood firmly and we felt safe inside the tent.
