Parkhill Farm is home to a spacious two-bedroom lodge where peace and quiet reign and there are great views overlooking Exmoor and the Barnstaple valley. This rural spot in Devon is about five minutes' drive from Barnstaple town centre and the river Taw, with easy access to north Devon's most popular sandy beaches for surfing and swimming. The edge of Exmoor National Park – a stunning patchwork of coastal villages, green hills and biodiverse woodlands – is also about a quarter of an hour away. The classic style of accommodation on offer at Parkhill Farm makes for very comfortable breaks for parties of up to four, with two separate bedrooms (one twin room and one master bedroom), a bathroom with a shower and WC, an open-plan kitchen and dining area and a living space with an woodburner effect electric fire, a flat screen Freeview TV and a DVD player. The outside decking area has seating, a well-maintained private garden area and ample parking. Bed linen, electricity and heating are all included in the price. As well as supermarkets, takeaways and pubs, Barnstaple has a covered market and a farm shop.
