Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked: Nestled in stunning Devon countryside this intimate campsite is perfect if you want quiet, calm time surrounded by animals and nature.
The facilities are great, a warm shower, compostable and flushable toilet and an inside area with electricity should you need it.
The hosts Lizzie and Matt were extremely welcoming, informative and helpful.
Very close distance to Combe Martin and a great base for hiking in the area.
The ground was great for camping in bad weather, we had very heavy rain and the ground didn’t become waterlogged.
Would definitely recommend here and will look to rebook for a longer stay again.

Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked: We liked the peace and rest on this campsite, the quietness of the environment, the friendly people who have welcomed us, the lovely animals and the easy simple clean facilities. There was a place to load the phones and a fridge to cool our elements. The nearby countryside, the walks on the coast path and Exmoor are all close to the campsite. We had a lovely time. Our daughter loved to be with the animals.
