Liked: The onsite laundry facilities and use of microwave and fridge freezer
Disliked: Shop shuts at 5pm Pool is freezing Tent on astroturf making it impossible to peg your tent and soaking wet in rain. Tractors running around at 8am So many “out of order signs” and things ran out of

From the manager: We are very sorry that you did not have a good stay at Andrewshayes. We are not a large park and sometimes we don't get everything right. To address your comments. We have a small shop inside the reception and times are clearly displayed, so it closes when the office closes at 5pm. The arcade machines are maintained by an external provider and we apologise that some were out of order during your stay and the vending machine ran out of change. These have all since been fixed. The pool heat should have been maintained so we are sorry if it was not. Most customers are happy with the astro-turf, over the course of the summer it is much better than wet grass and mud during periods of rain. Our wardens start work at 8am (not before) but from your feedback we have amended the routine so that refuse bins are emptied a bit later in the morning to reduce the noise first thing around the campers.

Liked: Amazing campsite!! On arrival they took our caravan and put it on the site for us then we followed up with the car. Helpful friendly staff. Lovely facilities, extremely clean shower facilities and washing up stations. Indoor pool Soft play for under sixes Little amusement arcade for old children, Honestly couldn’t ask for more to entertain children!! First evening we went to the bar and restaurant on site. Very nice food was tasty well presented. Lyme Regis was only a short 15 minute drive away and Seaton about the same distance, plenty around to see and do. Lovely time away to unwind.

Liked: The facilities were really good and we loved the bar and pool. The views from the site were beautiful and the sound of cows in the fields next door created a great ambience! It was lovely to have the caravan pitched on arrival by the tractor - not sure we would have made it into the pitches otherwise! The hardstanding astro style turf was very good in the mud.
Disliked: The pitches are quite small, we were visiting at a time when there had been a lot of rainfall and the ground was very muddy so that made the area smaller (and not the campsites fault) however they are small pitches when trying to park a car, put up an awning etc. Due to the hill slope there was not a lot of room. Quite close to the road.

From the manager: Thank you for your review. We are glad you enjoyed your stay. With the pitches being terraced we appreciate it does restrict the space a little especially with a larger caravan or awning.
Highly recommend

Liked: Flat ground lovey facilities & nice little break away Really clean shower block possibly the best we’ve seen (if your at the top it’s quiet far away with kids)
Disliked: Electric pitches arnt for tents the ground is impossible to get pegs into as it’s shingles and Astro placed over, it’s lovely and flat but not tent pitch friendly. We destroyed so many pegs and we have good ones. You need steaks and a metal hammer :)

Liked: Everything, site staff really attentive, site immaculate and well placed for local attractions, site has good shop and excellent swimming pool, pub was great and staff in it, which doesnt beling to site but owners were great. Nice people on site throughout, staff even site your caravan etc for you, has a laundrette on site whuch was very handy,
Disliked: Half the machines wernt working in the arcade, cue balls missing, pucks missing from air hockey, only a couple of fruit machines which percentage was nailed to the ground, needs more selection and monitoring as kids in there run riot
