Liked: Lovely clean and quiet site, toilets are first class and our Dachshund loved the dog exercise field opposite. Buses to truro and falmouth at the end of the lane. We shall return. Ashley had lots of advice and we thanked the cleaning staff for doing a great job.
Disliked: Only one issue for us, it is a 15 mph speed limit and found the cars came at you very quick when your wandering over to the toilets or going down the drive to the field. It's adults only so no danger of children getting in the way but I saw a lady have to run because dhe didn't judge the speed of the oncoming car. All other sites are 5 mph.

Liked: A lovely peaceful quiet site in a great location. Facilities are really excellent, and great communication before and during our stay.
Disliked: Where the tents pitch there is a large tree and one opposite. So rain dropped nightly and when the sun was out it really didn’t reach this area (in May) so always cold!

From the manager: Thank you for your review. Lovely to know that you enjoyed your stay, but what a shame about the distance. Perhaps, if you are ever down this way again, we can welcome you back for another visit.

Liked: Amenities superb, very clean and toilets / showers heated indoors. Amazing field just a few yards off the campsite where dogs can run free. Really helpful staff.
Disliked: Site just felt a little crammed in, the pitches were of good size but completely gravel with few grass areas. Each pitch was fenced off with either hedge or wooden fence which looked nice, but felt a little regimental. We were lucky and we arrived Friday and left Monday, there is construction going on which was really noisy on Friday. If it was a week stop I think we would have left early due to this. Whenever a vehicle drove through the park the pitches were billowed in mud dust from the field of mud in front of us. Can imagine the site will feel even more cramped if that is converted in the same way. We did receive an email to say construction works were going on before arrival, but not with an option to cancel with full refund.

From the manager: Thank you for your review! It is nice to know that you enjoyed your stay in terms of the amenities and the walking fields. It really is lovely over there and many a ball has been lost and found in that stream! Regards the development work we can only apologise. We did post advisory notices on Pitch Up, and we have offered full refunds for any customers wanting to cancel their bookings as a result. Our only wish is that you had popped to see one of the staff while you were on site to tell us that you were unhappy, and then we would of course have made every effort to relocate you. Hopefully you will reconsider visiting us again in the future. The field really will look fabulous once the work is complete.
Beautiful surroundings. Everything was clean and well laid out. Lovely quiet place…

Liked: We had a hard standing pitch which was level and plenty of room. There was plenty of trees behind us which hid the road which lead to the residential site. There were squirrels to watch and it was very peaceful. We were also next to the amenities which did not distract from our pitch. It was fully serviced which worked very well. It was also very easy to get to Falmouth and surrounding areas.
Disliked: Unfortunately the ground works were very noisy when they were working (they didn't work Sat or Sun) we were able to shut the noise out so it didn't bother us too much, but it was dusty as well. They have warned everyone about the work going on and it wouldn't have stopped us visiting, but be aware if you want to stay by the caravan during week days it could be noisy.

From the manager: Thank you for your review. Lovely to know that you enjoyed your stay with us, despite the ongoing ground works! Hopefully we can look forward to welcoming you back again next year after the ground works are complete and the campsite is back to full glory!
