  • Pre-erected bell tents on a rural camping field with great views
  • A 10-minute drive from Tate St Ives, five minutes’ walk to a pub
  • Close to surfing beaches and the South West Coast Path
St Ives Wild Camping welcomes you to comfy bell tents with the atmosphere of a wild camping site but just a few more luxuries. With fabulous views all around, the grass pitches are in a remote field with easy car access and lots of open space for relaxing (bring the dog too) and enjoying Cornwall’s spectacular countryside. There’s masses to do on the West Penwith peninsula. All you arty folks, St Ives (five minutes’ drive) is a smashing pitstop with Tate St Ives and the Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden as well as lots of art galleries and indie shops. Sandy surfing beaches, rural countryside walks, and local cycle trails are all within a 20-minute drive’s radius, and if you’re following the South West Coast Path (10 minutes), this hilltop spot makes for a clever overnight break. Bring your own barbecue for leisurely evenings snuggled up around your tent – you can pick up plenty of local produce to grill at neighbouring farm shops, and there’s are farmers' markets around too (Wednesday in Trink, Thursday in St Ives). The small hamlet of Cripplesease (five minutes’ walk) has a pub and a bus stop for outings to Penzance or St Ives. Cosy, furnished bell tents come with charging facilities and a storage chest (please bring your own bedding for the futons, which are already set up). Site amenities include portable toilets, a cool and refreshing solar-powered shower and a gas-heated shower.
