What customers say
Spacious, level pitches on an active airfield with plane & parachutist views. Friendly, helpful staff. Great for coastal walks. Basic but clean facilities, though some want more maintenance. Cafe & activities are a plus. Good value for a relaxed getaway.

We did enjoy our stay and would return for convenience.
Primitive grass campsite
Liked Site was good., good location, reasonable facilities.
Disliked Although the showers are hot, they’re on a 5 second timer. So by the time you’ve touched your head once, it’s time to push the button again.
Unfortunately other users, weren’t the cleanest, and left shower rooms dirty and unusable at times. Needs a squeegee to move excess water/clean floor after individual use.
Using the hand dryers also tripped the electric every time, so needs an electrician pronto!

Primitive grass and earth tent campsite (small)
Liked Spitfire park was a unique find while we were touring devon & cornwall and bookes last minute. Fairly quiet campsite but was amazing to be pitched in tent at end of the runway and sat having breakfast watching planes take off from their still active runway. The manager there was so helpful & couldn't do enough for you. Nice toilet block & shower. Will definately be returning.
