  • Quiet, spacious site just over 10 minutes’ walk from Padstow harbour
  • Walk to the South West Coast Path, the Camel Trail and the Saints’ Way
  • Dog-friendly and family-friendly; supermarket two minutes’ walk away
Time for a peaceful stay in Padstow? With views of the estuary and the countryside, Padstow Campsite is just over 10 minutes’ walk from Padstow harbour and the ferry to Rock. Good news for the keen walkers among you, there are plenty of trails within walking distance too, including the South West Coast Path, the Camel Trail and the Saints’ Way. The spacious grass pitches at this family-run, pop-up site are based on Trevethan Farm in a prominent position in Padstow. The pitches have access to showers and toilets, and they’re also dog-friendly and family-friendly. For those hoping to leave their car in one spot, the farm is within walking distance of local bus routes to destinations like Wadebridge, Newquay and Bodmin. There’s also Padstow right at your fingertips, of course, where it’s possible to get stuck into sailing, watersports, sea safaris, speedboat trips, fishing and cycling on the Camel Trail. If you’re craving a beach day, the site is a short drive from a handful of local beaches, including Trevone Bay five minutes’ drive away and Harlyn Bay beach 10 minutes’ drive away. If you’re ever in need of sunset snacks, breakfast cereals or other essentials, a large supermarket is a couple of minutes' walk away from Padstow Campsite.

What customers say

Great estuary views near Padstow. Clean facilities & friendly hosts. Some note limited amenities (one shower, no Elsan point), no electric, or a sloping field. Most would return.

Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite

Liked Lovely view looking down on the estuary from the site. Facilities kept spotlessly clean. Very friendly and helpful staff. Tesco very convenient. Plenty of hot water in showers.

Disliked Site would benefit from better signage at entrance. The two camping fields are farm fields so grass is not the lawn grass you find on most camp sites and needs cutting more often. Site needs more dishwashing sinks and toilets and a cover over the dishwashing area. Good hot water in showers but not so in the toilets and dishwashing sinks. Toilets and showers are pop up type so basic layout and need some sort of shelf in showers to keep stuff off floor and also a mirror.
