Liked: What a lovely little camp site, great location, great price and really friendly staff. The kids loved getting up each morning to go and say hello to the ponies, sunshine and sunny, before we headed out for the day, everything was all very well looked after and toilets and showers clean.
Disliked: Site was a little dated and the pool was very cold, but it was to be expected in the price, it was still a lovely experience for the children

Liked: When we arrived the lady was friendly and took us to our pitch our extension lead wouldn't reach just bit short to tent so she lent us one for £25 which you get back on leaving, the site was clean and quiet. There small swimming pool for kids ponies chicken on site and games room and little bar , toilets where clean showers where not that warm was just like warm enough to have shower could been little bit hot that only fault otherwise the rest of site you can not fault at all, it like ten 15 mins to different beaches and there and Aldi and b and m 10 mins away there no takeaway places near if wanted a takeway one night , the pitch we had was massive we had a lovely time either tho weather wasnt that good
Disliked: Showers needs to be a bit hotter

Liked: We travelled as a family with x2 children (13 & 11). The quiet atmosphere and family feel of the site. The couple running the place are lovely.
Disliked: The site could do with some updating/modernising. It’s cash only with no card payment facilities at all. Paying for our stay via bank transfer seemed strange. The small bar is nice enough but again, take cash. The bar snacks were out of date by 6 months which horrified the kids. Theres no onsite shop so you’ll need to plan as shops are a 10 minute drive. The bar didn’t even sell a pint of milk. There are only x2 showers in each block and when they’re running, the hot taps in the sinks barely flow. The water could’ve been hotter too, we’re not keen on luke warm showers. Theres no wifi at all across the site and phone reception is limited which didn’t go down too well with the kids. The “playground” (not that ours would’ve played) consists of one slide. The swimming pool is a good feature but only a few metres long and freezing cold. The perimeter paving could’ve done with a power wash. The Shetland pony is cute as are the chickens but couldn’t be classed as “something to do” on site. The games room has x2 pool tables which are fine and a video game from the 90’s. Unfortunately the other video game was broken and the air hockey table was about 40 years old and didn’t keep score! There are no lights around the site which was a problem when trying to navigate to the toilet block or walk the dog around the site.

Liked: Central location, very friendly owners. Pitches were large and had all the facilities you could wish for. Small bar that was great for a quick pint after a day out exploring
