The Old Stables Campsite

Liked: Absolutely everything. Mike & Jayne area awesome. So friendly and welcoming from the moment of arrival. We had issues with our van and Mike couldn't do enough to help us. Oh, and the carrot cake was to die for. The showers and toilets were also spotless...honestly, cannot fault anything.

Disliked: The crazy drivers on the main road.

Liked: The host - we actually thought it was going to be a very judgemental place but actually we were so wrong. Loved it here. The host was actually so funny and nice and the facilities were clean ! Flat pitch and loads of space ( two with a tent ). Water temperature on the shower was great also.

Disliked: The wind ( nothing to do with the site )

Liked: Very enjoyable weekend,flat ground, electric hook up, drinking water,clean toilets and showers over all very clean site.Can buy necessities in the office plus very nice coffee cake.would definitely look at staying again if in the area thank you Jayne and mike.

Liked: The site was well maintained and pitches were very spacious The shower/toilet facilities were immaculate The location was perfect Staff was very friendly and helpful

Disliked: The annoying cockrell nearby that thought it was acceptable to wake up every morning at 4:30am

Liked: Alles super. Toiletten und Duschen in Containern, alles sehr sauber, es gibt warmes Wasser. Einer der am besten ausgestatteten Plätze hinsichtlich Duschen, Toiletten und Spühlbereich.

Liked: It's always a gamble booking somewhere you haven't been before but we certainly won the golden ticket. Mike the owner is very helpful and friendly. He shared where best local businesses we needed, especially the best local pasty! The site is a large field where pitches are all around the perimeter leaving the centre free. There is also other pitches in smaller areas. The facilities were spotless being cleaned regularly by Mike and Jayne themselves. They should be proud of what they've achieved. Thank you for making our holiday enjoyable, and yes we will be back if we're coming back to Cornwall anytime.

Disliked: My daughter thought a waste bin would be useful in the shower cubicle similar to the ones in the toilets, but just a suggestion.

Thank you for your daughter’s suggestion re bins in the showers. We have actually done this in the past but found that they ended up being abused and used for dumping all sorts, such as food, broken glass, rather than putting it in the bigger bins by the gate, which we felt was a health and safety risk. Liked: We were very welcomed to the site of which was spacious, flat, clean and well maintained. We chose this for it's ideal location to one of my favourite sites to relax and see the sunrise at Godrevy Lighthouse, and easy access to other beaches and surrounding places to visit.

Disliked: The only dislike, so be warned. Was the damn cockerals 🐓 next door to the site make a lot of noise. We had to turn it into a joke as after the leader had woken everyone, the youngsters would try their voices, it was like teacher and student 😂.

Liked: Friendly owners and as Ive stayed before it was nice to be welcomed back. The site is clean, irganised and well maintained as well as being near to beautiful beaches, but slightly out to be peaceful.
