  • Lovely, peaceful location
  • Within walking distance to the two local pubs
  • Regular bus service
We are located in north Cornwall in the village of Delabole - a family-run caravan site new for 2023 with five hardstanding pitches available all year round. With a back-to-basics feel, facilities at Blackthorn are limited with one toilet, no shower facilities, chemical toilet disposal, grey waterways, and drinking water taps provided. There are two pubs in the village, the Bettle and Chisel just a five minute walk away, and the Poldark, a 10-minute stroll. The local shop is also within walking distance. We are between the popular villages of Port Isaac and Tintagel, which are just a 10-minute drive. The famous harbour village of Boscastle is four miles away, and the beautiful beach of Polzeath renowned for its large soft sandy beach, a huge hit with a surfers, is just eight miles away. We welcome well-behaved dogs but must be kept on the lead whilst on site. There are lots of beautiful countryside footpath right on the doorstep of a Blackthorn. Regular buses run through Delabole with several bus stops along the high street. A perfect base for exploring the area.
