Liked: Location was perfect, mostly spotless facilities bar the odd occasion where other guests had not checked after they'd flushed. Very well maintained grounds, handy little shop. Fabulous playing field for the boys which was in great condition.
Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: This is a fantastic site with excellent amenities, large pitches and everything you could need during your stay, including large washing lines with pegs as well as driers. The staff were really friendly and very helpful. The site is immaculate and the sanitary blocks were spotlessly clean. It is situated in the middle of the countryside and is peaceful yet it's not too far to walk along the country lane to the nearby harbour village with a small selection of places to eat and drink.
Disliked: The only thing this site lacks is a drive over motorhome emptying drain.

Disliked: Had electricity supply issues on and off for most of the weekend. Morning and evening, the site electrics seemed to get overloaded and trip our caravan so we couldn’t use the fridge, heating etc. The push button showers are very annoying. It’s like being back at primary school and going to swimming lessons. You have to push the button every 10-15 seconds to keep the shower running.

From the manager: Thank you for staying with us over a very wet Easter weekend, and for your review. It was regrettable that the electricity went off 3 times during your stay, but we did act immediately with the power interrupted for no longer than 5 minutes and we spoke to you and all other tourers about the situation at the time, and hoped that was helpful. Thankfully the fault was rectified on Easter Monday. I have to say that guests do comment favourably on our water saving efforts with the water flow stopping after 20 seconds in the showers, and our non-concussive taps in the shower rooms. We all need to do our bit! Once the button is re-pressed the water does start immediately at the same temperature. Great that you liked some elements of your stay.
Very clean facilities and tidy site. Helpful manager giving advice and suggestions…
