Liked: The glamping lodge was clean and had all of the amenities that we were expecting from the booking details. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The games room was a huge hit and source of enjoyment for our son. It was a quiet sight, despite being a busy Bank Holiday weekend. All of the other campers were friendly.
Disliked: Not a huge amount of showers/toilet facilities for the amount of people on site.

Power optional cement/asphalt and grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked: What a lovely campsite, beautiful surroundings, hard and grass pitch so could park our cars next to the tent. Fire pits were amazing. Polite helpful owners, fully equipped games room children loved good showers and toilets
Disliked: The little shop didn’t have any supplies (needed milk) but the lady tried helping and also told us they hadn’t been very busy so hadn’t stocked up, which is understandable. Had a drive to the beach but was nice once there. No hammocks as advertised

From the manager: Thank you for your review. The shop is only stocked with perishables in busy periods as they just go out of date. We were happy to help you with some 'coffee mate ' The hammocks have been waiting for a drier spell, its been so wet . We could have put one up for you whilst you were here if you had asked . Nice to hear you made full use of the games room , and fire pits

Liked: Lovely quiet site in the countryside, great shower and toilet facilities. Especially liked the firepit areas by the stream. They have a large indoor play area brilliant for families.
Disliked: Not really a dislike more a be aware the approach does go through a working farm so you may meet farm traffic but they were very courteous and reversed for me 😀

Robins Roost cabin
Liked: What a fantastic stay. We were in the Robins Roost cabin with two 10 year olds. The site is so peaceful and beautifully kept with lots of pretty flowers and trees. The fire pits by the brook are brilliant and we loved roasting marshmallows at night. Our cabin was well equipped, spacious and clean. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Shared bathroom facilities were basic, however the family rooms were really handy and had plenty of space to wash and dress. They were kept clean and tidy throughout. The people who run the site seemed pleasant and we saw them hard at work mowing the lawns and tending to the plants. The small shop came in handy for some bits and bobs. The location was great and within driving distance of some great places. We visited Summerleaze beach with the sea pool and also Tintagel castle. We normally camp but for that bit extra we stayed in the cabin and it is great value for money. The camping pitches seemed pretty big with access to drinking taps and electricity. The girls made use of the indoor activities. Great at night to stargaze. Would definitely recommend and will look to return in future.
