Nice big field where we could play cricket without upsetting any other campers.
    Great view across the fields.
Nice to have a fire pit (you pay for the rent of the fire pit and wood unless you bring your own)
Toilets and washing up facilities are basic as described but clean and adequate!

    Disliked:

It's right next to the road so there is quite a bit of traffic noise

This was our third visit to crows hall , always a warm welcome from the owner, loads of space to pitch up where you like & with 2 x 5 mtr bell tents & a large event dome & 2x 4 wheel drives was not a problem, had fire pits & logs delivered by the owner & had a great night under the stars cooking over the top of them , toilets & kitchen area were nice & clean & considering there were also a large group of d o e participants on the adjoining field the owner was constantly checking to make sure his high standards were maintained at all times . Nice not to be rushed to pack up & leave by a certain time is also a bonus

Very nice and peaceful site, very children friendly , was my 1st experience camping and found it a pleasure. The owner was very accommodating, we had a fire and logs supplied by campsite for £10 which was fair , we went to woods and collected some more wood and played on rope swing, nice walks , 2 local pubs , will definitely use again ! No shower but plenty of warm water and toilet facilities! Clean and fresh!

Lovely setting. Walked over to the Royal Oak - very friendly and great food. Nice to have a firepit and the toilet and washing-up facilities were pretty good for a 'wild' camping site. Thanks for a nice family short break before school kicks back in!

    Disliked:

We weren't in the slightest bit bothered by the nearby road, but do bear in mind that it isn't completely quiet until later in the evening.

We had a fantastic time at this campsite; the toilets were lovely, clean and well-stocked throughout our visit; as was the kitchen - the hot water was a real bonus! Peter, who ran the site was absolutely awesome, from leaving us a fire pit for the first night, to providing everything we needed to go with it, to some fantastic local recommendations and gorgeous fresh eggs in the morning, we could not have asked for better. The views were beautiful and the campsite peaceful. Would recommend to anyone looking to explore local seasides and Arundel Castle, it’s really well located. We intend to stay here again, so we can explore the castle more when it’s not raining!

    Disliked:

Local attractions

You can reach all bits of 'Glorious Goodwood', with its racecourse, motoring meets and marvellous country house within a 15-minute drive. If it gives you a taste for roaming round ducal residences, 12th-century (and still occupied) Arundel Castle is 25 minutes away.

Queen Elizabeth Country Park (25 minutes) as well as being a pretty destination in itself is the starting point for the Hangers Way, a 21-mile path through fab countryside ultimately linking up with the mighty, 100-mile long South Downs Way. Both routes are split into handy sections with public transport links, and have elevated wanderings through a landscape of ancient woods, wild grasslands and chalk rivers.

Take a dip after all that rambling, by beetling over to Bognor (half an hour) for beaches and traditional seafront stuff. The harbour at Chichester (25 minutes) is deservedly designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty: walk or cycle through its creek-laced wetlands to see a fine spread of wildlife under big skies and splendid sunsets.

Sailors and history buffs alike will love it in Portsmouth, half an hour away: it's an increasingly happening harbour city where you can clamber around historic vessels like HMS Victory and the Mary Rose.
