Bodiam Boating Station is a level paddock on an acre and a half of Kent countryside, within the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It's on the River Rother, flowing from the High Weald to 14th-century Bodiam Castle. Cruises to Bodiam Castle and Rye are offered on site, along with private hire for parties and events, row boat and kayak hire, fishing and a scenic tea garden for cream teas and wine. Campfires are encouraged and dogs are welcome. The site is 10 miles from the beach at Camber Sands.

Postcode: TN18 5PP From A21 take turning off at Flimwell onto A28 towards Hawkhurst. Stay on road 5m, go through Newenden, past the White Hart pub, over small bridge with traffic lights, turn immediately left between river and white house with bright blue shutters. You have arrived. From Hastings (take A21, then A28) or Rye (take A268) until it joins A28 to Hawkhurst/ Tenterden.
