Liked: Amazing campsite with really excellent facilities- everyone really friendly. Great weekend away, kids had fabulous time, very relaxing will definitely go back and highly recommended
Disliked: A shame but not a complaint at all, connected pub stopped food at 730pm Data signal not the greatest in the area, managed some 4g most of the time.

Liked: Great layout for hard standing pitches, close proximity to the river which we used our paddleboard on, very clean, big site so if you decided you didn’t want EHU you have a huge choice of location for pitching.
Disliked: We only noticed this on the last day and I’m not sure if it was because the hard standing pitches were full or due to the warm weather but the stench from the waste tanks was particularly bad to the point we could smell it in our caravan.

From the manager: Thank you for choosing to stay with us and leaving a lovely review. The Elson tanks get emptied on a Sunday afternoon/Monday morning, if we had known they were causing an issue they would have been emptied sooner. We look forward to your next visit.

Liked: The hop farm has always been my go to camping location. It has great facilities which are kept clean. There weren’t many people staying when i arrived and only a few more came the day after i arrived. The washing up area is ideally located near where we pitched alongside the toilet and shower facilities. If you’re pitched further away you can drive to these in minutes. The hot water was amazing in the shower (almost didn’t want to get out) and it’s the same for the washing up area so dishes can be washed properly (there is a friendly sign asking to not throw oil/fat down the sink). For a two night stay it was pleasant and a great way to get away from the city. Dog loved it too!
Disliked: Not much to dislike, only critique is one of the toilet/shower facilities area didn’t have any hand soap in whilst the other did. Easy fix though once you know what’s available. There was no wifi facilities as far as i was aware so used my hotspot for everything.

From the manager: Thank you for choosing to stay with us and leaving a lovely review. I am sorry the hand soaps were not replenished quickly enough. We look forward to your next visit.
