Liked: This was my first time on a camp site and we fell right on our feet. Painters Farm was a true gem. The setting was gorgeous - camping among the cherry trees - whilst the managers, Karen and Simon, were so attentive and on hand at all times. The toilets and showers were clean as were the outdoor washing facilities; the little shop was a godsend whilst the pub which was in 5 mins walking distance served up lovely food. It was truly a lovely campsite and we won't hesitate to return again in the future.

Liked: Unfortunately we were not able to continue with our break this time but Karen and Simon messaged us a lovely message checking we were ok and safe travels. We have stayed at this campsite a few times before and can not fault anything. It’s clean, toilets and showers well maintained, Karen and Simon really friendly. Fantastic place to stay.

Liked: Friendly and communicative welcome. The couple who oversee the site are exceptional and incredibly helpful. They have mastered the ability to be available and yet completely respectful of your own space and time. The space we stayed in was perfect for our son and dog. The washing up area was clean and easy to use. The shower was warm and the toilets clean! What more could you ask for?
Disliked: One shower needed to be looked at for pressure - it didn't dampen the trip whatsoever but wanted to highlight so it can be considered.

Liked: Well maintained campsite in a quiet location with plenty of parking and a small field for football and games. The owners are friendly and have a little shop for essentials. A small local pub is only a few minutes walk away.
