  • Small, friendly and well-kept site in the New Forest National Park
  • A 10-minute drive from a theme park and 20 minutes from Mottisfont
  • Pubs a short walk away; open-top tour bus stop outside the site
Looking for a nifty place to stay in the New Forest? A 10-minute drive from a host of attractions including a wildlife park, family-friendly theme park, gardens and a historical market town, the dog-friendly Bartley Cross Campsite will make it simple to get around the national park. This friendly site is alongside a stop for an open-top tour bus, so you may be picked up from the site and jump on and off wherever you desire, whether it’s attractions or pretty villages for a scenic walk. If you’d rather go your own way, that’s okay too, as there are many friendly faces around the site ready to point you around. The site has toilets and fresh drinking water, plus the option of starting up a barbecue of your own. Aside from that, it’s a basic place with the scenery of the New Forest around – and, of course, New Forest ponies, donkeys and five species of deer often wandering around the surrounding area. The closest pub, 10 minutes’ walk away, is a family-friendly spot with a carvery, while in the opposite direction, there’s a pub with homemade food and cask ales 25 minutes’ walk away. Supermarkets aren’t hard to find here either, as there’s a supermarket on the edge of Totton just five minutes’ drive away from the site.
