Primitive forest floor tent campsite (woodland)
Liked: We liked the remoteness of the woodland. The communal sitting room was quite well equipped, but could do with a couple sofa even recycled ones. Overall 9/10. Loos need larger bins for toilet rolls. Very hospitable, helpful and friendly leaseholder. Will definitely return.

Liked: Quirky little campsite with lots of lovely little touches. Great little honesty shop onsite and lots of books and crannies to explore.
Disliked: A little more direction on how to find the campsite would be helpful

Kez’s shepherd's hut
Liked: Being off grid for 24 hours. Was able to switch off and be surrounded by green. A new shower and toilet facility has been added. Plenty of space.

Primitive forest floor tent campsite (woodland)
Liked: Charming spot for tenting in the forrest; wood chips as surface worked surprisingly well = less dew in the morning! Dan was extremely helpful over the phone to get me checked in and help me run the shower.
Disliked: Even with the signage and the emails, still so hard to find as there is a huge set of black gates at the road (that's not it) and the set of silver gates earlier down the driveway. I had a passer-by help me. Also, couldn't locate any garbage disposal on the site and had to carry all my rubbish with me to the next town.

Bell tent
Liked: The place is lovely as it is quiet and immersed in nature; the tent was clean and comfortable as the space around.
Disliked: There were NO basic services such as a proper toilet and shower; this was very unpleasant and make this place definitely a no go for more than one night.

Primitive forest floor tent campsite (woodland)
Liked: Bluebell woodland, birdsong, lovely walks and villages nearby, toads, newts, beautiful canteen area and outdoor furniture.
Disliked: Noise pollution, loud music coming from other campers, facilities could do with some upgrading (I think this is in the pipeline) - they don't need to be flashy, just eco-toilets and washing up would be nice.

Primitive forest floor tent campsite (woodland)
Liked: It is a place which has all the potential to take you bake tot basics, a place where you can learn to enjoy the silence or the nature, something that most of us seem to have forgotten. Each of the forest places is well chosen nd has its own intimacy. My daughter enjoy it, even if there was no playground. We made barbecues, marshmallows, we painted, we did origami and she learnt how to set up a tent and to make a fire. No phones, no tablets. Liked the idea of the "honesty shop". Well stocked.
Disliked: A large group of guys was camped in the nearby spots and played rave music loud for the first night until 2:30a.m. The second night volume slightly lower. Luckily my daughter was able to sleep alright. Not me. The next night they were a bit more considerate, but then a family which just arrived started playing loud arabic music and other genres in the evening. Why come to places like this to do that? Just go to a concert. Maybe a rule regarding loud music would help. Sound propagates really loud in paaceful places like these. Toilets also need a bit of improvement. In my opinion the existing ones are not enough. Parking also needs some work. In wet weather not great.
