Liked: The field is clean and well maintained.Plenty of space (we were all by ourselves at first). Being able to use the adjoining cafe, shop and brewery is really nice and the pizza from the brewery event meant we didn't have to do any cooking or washing up. No shower facilities, but we knew that already and came prepared. We have stayed here twice already and plan to return when we can.

Liked: Booked on here and had email with all details, directions, contact details, the events on etc on the next day. Great location although as others have said it really is just a field/football pitch on the side of a farm. Not busy at all, so had pick of the site. Set up in bottom corner and settled in. Great live music on the Saturday night from the brewery, which finished at 9pm and was well managed. Simple clean toilet. No showers as stated but a lovely cafe and farm shop for your fresh lovely meats. Would definitely come back, as safe secure area for children and dogs.
Disliked: The only slight downside was a private function on the Sunday night which went on till quite late and the people were very loud and you have to walk through them to use the toilet. So if you are bothered by noise go to the bottom of the field or check if they have any functions on. However, this would not stop me coming back.

From the manager: Thank you Hannah I am glad that you had a good weekend and I am really sorry about the party on Sunday, they were meant to finish at 11 and yes they were far too loud and that will not be repeated ! Thank you for coming.
Great weekend spent with friends.

Liked: Everything about this site was perfect for us. It is a simple field set up around a football pitch on a working farm which was perfect for the children. There are few facilities but that wasn't a problem for us. On the same site there was a fantastic cafe where we had breakfast and a farm shop, this was separate to the camp site so don't expect to get essential camping supplies from here. There is a better shop a short drive away (you could walk to it). The campsite manager was very helpful. It's a back to basics sort of camp site, no play areas just nature's playground and we loved it. The microbrewery on site looked popular although we didn't get a chance to try it out.
