Tranquil holiday located on the Blackwater Estuary.
Located a short drive from the lovely City of Colchester.
Bar for food and drink, indoor pool and adventure playground.

We've got some great things to do here at Mersea Island. Our park facilities are nestled neatly together by the coast and include the Muddy Duck Clubhouse, a kids outdoor play area, small arcade and an indoor swimming pool, all blessed with views of the nature reserve and beach. The park has its own private beach overlooking the Blackwater Estuary where you can launch your boat or Jet Ski. We’re adjacent to Cudmore Grove Country Park, a dog walkers paradise as they have so much space to roam freely whilst you take in the fresh sea air. We are a pet friendly park with plenty of space to walk them and offer pet friendly accommodation!

The park does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Breed-specific legislation (i.e. Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro).
Group bookings of 3 or more units (e.g. tent, caravan, RV or accommodation hire) traveling together are not permitted via Pitchup.com.
Group bookings of 6 or more adults are not permitted (couples and immediate family members excepted).
Single-sex bookings of 3 or more people (couples and immediate family members excepted) are not permitted via Pitchup.com.
No bachelor/bachelorette parties permitted via Pitchup.com.
Commercial vehicles (vehicles used for work-related purposes, carrying goods or fare-paying passengers) and sign-written vehicles are not permitted on site.
Reception is unmanned after 5 p.m.. Please inform the park while on your way there should you expect to arrive after this time so that the team can provide information about your unit/site.
At least one of the party members must be aged 21 or over.
Bookings must not consist of more than 3 different households.

Changes to your holiday

Bookings cannot be amended within 14 day(s) of arrival.
Modifications are subject to a £10.00 ($12.50) fee.

Admission

Admission is only permitted after registering at reception.
At least one of the party members must be aged 21 or over.
Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

Arrivals and departures

Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.
No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.

Dogs

Dogs must be kept on leashes and supervised at all times.
The park does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Breed-specific legislation (i.e. Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro).

General

Bookings are nominative and non-transferable.
Quiet (afternoon) hours must be respected between 9 p.m. and 9 a.m..
Radio, music and TV players must be kept at a low volume. Car doors and trunks must be closed quietly.
The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behavior is deemed unsuitable. No refunds will be offered.
