Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked: Lovely location well maintained site with easy access to secure site. Peaceful with shops and pubs near. Bacis facilities clean and maintained.
Disliked: Short notice and great price nothing to dislike .

Powered grass tent campsite
Liked: I like the open space in the second field, the owner came to greet us upon arrival and communication with himself was pleasant. The view of the horses on the back field was lovely. The toilet was clean
Disliked: No complaints about the site itself only I would of liked to see a photo of the toilet and washing up area before arrival :)

Liked: Opposite New Hall Vineyard, you can see the fields of vines from the site. Back to basics site, traditional camping. Quaint village of Purleigh and excellent pub walking distance. Bus to Maldon 18 mins from the post office.
Disliked: On the corner of 2 roads , but they were fairly quiet. Only 1 toilet, was very clean but wonky!

Liked: Pub 500m walk away which was lovely ,great food and very dog friendly too. A selection of Hard standing pitches very much needed as very wet weather . Lovely view from back of camper ,would revisit for sure.
Disliked: Would be nicer if it had a toilet block built with a sink under cover to wash up. when I arrived I was disappointed to see a portaloo, but inside this is a full working toilet it was basic but clean. As only a short break no shower was not an issue for us.
