Liked: laid back atmosphere, site owner was very friendly and welcoming, spacious pitches, play area for youngsters, good shower cubicles and facilities
Disliked: No hot water at the pot washing facilities

From the manager: Thank you so much for your review. Apologies for the issue with the hot water at the dish washing station. Having no electricity means we have to run this from gas boilers and there was an issue with the boiler lighting.
Would stay again.

Primrose Park Field primitive grass campsite
Liked: Loved the relaxed atmosphere and friendly owners. The space was available to choose where to pitch and we rented a fire pit for our stay which the kids loved. It was great to stay somewhere so peaceful with space for the kids and without a million rules to follow. The shower area was nice and the showers were spacious and had a proper screen to keep clothes dry! The shop was useful too for essentials.
Disliked: The boiler control for the shower was very confusing. Could do with some instructions please!

Liked: Spacious Showers with unlimited hot water. Enclosed area with a ‘rough’ play area good for allowing little ones to wander while still in sight. Helpful owner.
Disliked: Boiler to toilet and washing up not working.
