Liked: Lovely small site, very friendly owner, clean facilities with hot water to wash up. Good location.
Disliked: *Very* family friendly site which meant children running round screaming constantly, had to ask them to stay away from our pitch twice.

From the manager: Thank you for your review. I’m sorry that you didn’t like children having fun at our site. The field has the play area in the centre so that families can keep an eye on their children whilst allowing them to play freely and safely. Maybe the Touring area or hardstanding area may have been more suitable for you, as most families go on the field. Should you choose to stay with us again, I would suggest you choose the Touring pitches, Woodland or Beck View as they are quieter areas.

Liked: A lovely field space to pitch in with a great area to play with good toys for the kids. Very much appreciated. The toilets and showers were clean and everything else was self explanatory in terms of washing up, bins and waste disposal. When we arrived we were warmly welcomed and told how the onsite shop worked in terms of getting hold of someone to open it. The only issue was that the fresh water had just sprung a leak (it affected the farmers house too) and it took a while to sort. However, they gave us a big bottle or water and kept checking in on us.
Disliked: It can be a little tricky to get hold of someone if you need something, but perserverence calling the numbers provided pays off.

From the manager: Thank you for your review. I would like to apologise again for the issues with the water. I do hope the bottled water resolved this for you. I appreciate that it can be difficult to get hold of myself or Andrew sometimes due to other work commitments but Andrew is usually around the site somewhere and I will always get back to you as soon as I can.
Good site, loads of room, basic amenities, friendly staff.

Liked: This is our 3rd stay at Primrose park and has we had our small grandson and family with us we stayed on the field site. Site has basic clean amenities and a small shop. Owner is very welcoming and supplies fire pits and wood for a small charge. Loads of room for camping and spectacular views of the surrounding area.

Liked: We had such a lovely stay and would highly feccommend!! The man that runs it, is lovely and so helpful. It has such a nice relax feel and the kids loved playing and going on adventures. Facilities were clean and looked after. Would highly recommend and will defiantly be going back over the summer. There’s a farm shop around 8 minutes drive or Skipton is 30 minutes drive away!

Liked: Very friendly reception from Andrew who was helpful throughout. We could choose our own pitch from the four areas of the site, a large field with lots of families enjoying the space, a woodland area, grass and hard standing area surrounded by trees and a hard standing area with the beck running below, something to suit everyone. There is a small shop, toilets, showers, water and Elsan facilities and the site had a relaxed, casual but well run feel to it. Lovely views towards Pendle Hill and plenty of footpaths for walking nearby.
Disliked: Absolutely nothing to dislike.
