Hodder Valley bell tent (hot tub)
Liked: Amazing off the grid location with stunning views the only downfall was the weather wasn’t on our side choose the most rainiest week. Meet the owner onsite upon arrival easy check in and run through the campsite rules and expectations, nice and friendly greeting. Great place to get away for a short break if your looking for quite and peaceful location this is the place to go.

Hodder Valley bell tent (hot tub)
Liked: Private and peaceful pitch with gorgeous views. It’s exposed to the elements but I was well prepared so slept like a baby. Took 2 duvets. No need to take table/chairs/BBQ as all provided. Stuart was friendly and welcoming. The hot tub was lovely. Will definitely be going back. Such good value for money!
Disliked: A canopy above the BBQ would be helpful for when it’s raining but other than that, perfect.

Hodder Valley bell tent (hot tub)
Liked: Amazing location with amazing views. A great place to get away from it all.
Disliked: 'Flushing toilet' is a portaloo, and not the one shown in photos. Freezing cold, even on the sunny day in my photos, because of location too cold to sit outside, and at night was absolutely freezing. We had 2 duvets and blankets and was still cold. Baring in mind no refunds for leaving early we only managed 2 nights of the 4 booked. Fridge now inside the toilet hut which we found very unsanitary. Water not changed in hot tub for our use. Overly chlorinated with 3 tablets in the foater which left residue all round the sides. Bbq ran out of gas on the first night, which should of been checked before we arrived, text to owner sent but not replaced for 24hrs.

From the manager: Hi, thanks for your feedback. I’m glad you enjoyed the location but a real shame you didn’t enjoy your stay at our bell tent. To clarify a few points that you’ve raised; The toilet isn’t a portaloo as you described, it’s a caravan/camping style toilet which is very similar to the last one. The hot tub water is clean/ fresh when you arrive, if it’s dirty after you’ve used it then that’s not our fault. As it’s log fired the smoke can leave a residue. The gas bottle was changed the next day and you stated that you weren’t urgent for it until lunch time so I’m not sure why you’ve complained about this. And finally it was your choice to leave after two nights and you never asked for a refund. Overall the bell tent isn’t a hotel it’s a glamping experience which every guest so far has thoroughly enjoyed.
