Liked: Campsite was basic, as described, but served its purpose well. Good location, just pitch up and off you go. Shame 1/3 of field is sloped also so arrive early at busy times for a good pitch.
Disliked: Needs a few extra toilets and more toilet roll on offer as it often ran out. Also didn’t see the natural spring, which would do well to be signposted, assuming the water is drinkable.

Liked: The views were stunning. Toilets were clean. Short walk into Pooley Bridge which we did and also close to a paddle boarding place which we also did. Other campers seemed respectful and vibes were good. The owner came round offering fire pits at night for a small fee. She seemed really nice and helpful. There was even a parrot flying around which was an experience! Apparently it belonged to the neighbours! I loved this site and would definitely put it on our favourites list.
Disliked: Nothing.
