What customers say
Spectacular Lake District hillside views at this small, peaceful site. Clean, modern facilities, including warm showers & laundry. Friendly, accommodating hosts. Limited pitches (around five) mean a quiet experience. Track is steep, challenging in poor weather/for low-powered vehicles.

Liked Amazing views, good hot shower, small library.
Disliked Maybe another separate toilet would be good when others are taking a long time in the shower. Even a portaloo.

Liked Absolutely everything, loved this site, especially the views. We were travelling up to Scotland so wanted a stop off for a couple of nights . So quiet and peaceful. Toilet shower facilities just one room but as only 5 vans allowed it worked out well. Would definitely come back here .

Spectacular views
Primitive grass campervan campsite
Liked Lovely site, clean and well catered for, toilet, shower and washing facilities clean and modern. The camp ground was nice and flat. The views are spectacular, just breathtaking. Be prepared the site is on the top of a hill so can get very windy, you are open to the elements. But the views make up for that. I visited solo with my 2 dogs. Owners were very helpful and friendly.lovely quiet and peaceful camp.
