Children felt very safe as majority of pitches around us were seasonal
Child friendly site with lots of children
Nice little park
Disliked Not necessarily a dislike but just to factor in, electric was £10 for less than 2 days and it was a heatwave, 30 degrees. Only fridge and tv running. Had to add an extra £5 on, so the cost per night is an additional £5-£7 with electric in the summer. Likely to be much more in winter with heating on.
You cannot walk from the site to a pub, shop etc, you do need a car as it’s very much in the middle of nowhere.

A great stay at a lovely park.
Camping pod (pet friendly)
Liked We loved our two night stay in our dog friendly camping pod.
Everything was great- the pod, the reception, the food, the pool, the shower block, the staff and the holiday park itself.
It's a quiet, leafy holiday park which suited us perfectly.
The shower block was nicer than many I've been in and was clean.
We loved the pool. Again, that was quiet.
We loved that there's an inside seating space for dogs.
The food menu was substantial and the bar well stocked too.
The pod itself was good. It had more plug sockets than I expected. The weather was nice so we didn't need the heating but appreciated that it was there. We were in a shady area so had no issue with light in the mornings but thicker curtains would be my only suggestion for improvement.
I'd recommend bringing lamps for the evening when you're winding down (we brought lamps and strung up fairy lights) because there is just the one overhead light and it is bright.
We comfortably fit in a double bed, a single bed, a dog crate, a camping table and 3 camping chairs. As well as bags and shoes.
Unfortunately we didn't check out the walking trail because of injury but what we did see of the park was lovely and I think children would enjoy the play area.
A really great stay.
Tip: bring change if you want to use the little arcarde/air hockey as there's no cash machine on site.

Lovely quiet and peaceful site close…
Camping pod (no pets)
Liked Lovely quiet and peaceful site close to plenty of things to do within a short drive. Lots of options for walks, bike rides and enjoying the outdoors.
Very well looked after site, great toilet block for the pod campers, play area and swimming pool all hits with the kids. We were extremely lucky with the weather. The pods wouldn't have been big enough to eat inside so we were lovely dining alfresco!
Disliked Shop facilities very basic supplies and bar/restaurant only open until 9pm but I think that adds to the peaceful nature of the site. Some shelter for the pods if weather turned nasty might be beneficial but then they probably wouldn't be quite so reasonably priced.

Disliked No area's where off limits to dog's, and I'm a dog lover but not everyone r.
Not enough cleaning in facilities.
No recycling bins. No refunds on unused electricity.

Should have been great.
Power optional gravel travel trailer campsite
Liked Good to have bar and restaurant. Generally the facilities were good.
Disliked The team member performing check in made the whole experience incredibly confusing. So much so that they confused themselves and I ended up being put on the Halls More site which was not where I booked. It was ok but not what I paid for and very crowded.
