Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked: We stayed only one night and wished we could stay more! Really friendly small and welcoming site with spacious grass pitches amidst gorgeous views on all sides. Fab facilities included large fridge and microwave and various racquets bats and balls for outdoor games plus small seating area and board games in barn area accessible at any time. V clean facilities. Eggs for sale and chiminea for hire, was lovely to hire this and watch the sunset. Cars not on main field but close so great for kids to play, lots of space for that. Can also visit friendly pigs, chickens and geese in field next to pitches over a little bridge. Amazing place to explore. Trails for walking or running straight from the site. Skipton only a ten minute car or train ride. Can get her easily by train only 5 mins walk from Steeton and Silsden train station.
Disliked: Nothing about campsite it was great! Access from train station is only 5 mins walk but roads were busy at rush hour. (But not a problem)

Liked: Absolute gem of a site !! Stayed four nights , tent - none electric. The Host Carol was really welcoming.. very relaxed vibe about the place . Pitch where you like .Firepits and chimineas to hire , fresh eggs to buy . Excellent clean, brand new unisex shower block . Microwave and kettle for campers use in the barn ..and the best bit ...pigs !! We were able to go in and feed and stroke them ..my 12 Yr old was in his element !!! Excellent value for money and already booked a return stay . There's double pods on site too for anyone not too sure about tent camping! Aldi 5 mins up road ..Silsden village 10 mins walk .. definitely worth a visit !!
Disliked: Absolutely nothing apart from the weather and there's not much anyone can do about that 😂.

Microlodge
Liked: We stayed in a lodge for 2 nights. What a fantastic break! Our lodge was spacious for parent plus teenager , well equipped with double bed & clothes rail plus chairs & tables. We loved the convenience of a toaster and kettle along with complimentary teabags & coffee even sachets of milk too! As the weather was unpredictable, having a dry and warm space was great . The lodge was very cosy and would be good year round as there also was a small plug in radiator. The teenager made the most of the multiple plug sockets! The location of the campsite is near the dual carriageway, yet the insulation of the lodge cut a considerable amount of noise when compared to our last visit in our tent. Easy walk to large Aldi and Silsden village plus canal walks, look out for the Guinea Fowl ! There are regular buses to Ilkley and keighley &Steeton for train links.
Disliked: Would benefit from a dustbin by the washing up sinks for food waste.

Liked: Brilliant site, extremely clean and well looked after. The communal fridge was great, and the ample fire pits they had to use was also fab! The kids loved going seeing the pigs they have and going on the riverside walk. Couldn't recommend it enough.
Disliked: Nothing!

Liked: Attractive site with mown grass and wildlife areas. Very clean facilities and hot water. Great location for canal walks and local history. Nice pub in Kildwick. Friendly owners.
Disliked: Noise from fair but it stopped at 8:30 pm so not really an issue. It was bank holiday weekend.
