  • Family-friendly site in the former Emmerdale village
  • A 15-minute drive from Yorkshire Dales National Park; Leeds 35 minutes
  • Clubhouse with a well-stocked bar; a short drive from market towns
Spacious pitches, scenic Yorkshire surroundings, proximity to Leeds and a pint in Emmerdale’s Woolpack pub… These all await you at Esholt Sports and Leisure Club, a family-friendly site set in the village that was formerly used as the location for the TV soap. It's surrounded by scenic countryside in the Yorkshire village of Esholt, 20 minutes' drive from Bradford and 35 minutes from Leeds. Esholt found fame as the original setting of Emmerdale: fans of the show will probably recognise several other village locations while here. (And whether you're a fan or not, a pint at the Woolpack is probably a top idea…) Esholt Sports and Leisure Club has a clubhouse and a well-stocked bar. Amenities for guests include toilets, showers and a chemical disposal point. Esholt is well placed for visiting many Yorkshire attractions, such as the museums of Leeds and Bradford, the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Saltaire and the Yorkshire Dales National Park.

What customers say

Well-kept, friendly site in a picturesque village. Guests love the clean, spacious pitches, helpful staff & relaxed vibe, often watching local cricket. Some found facilities dated & cramped. Noise can be an issue during busy times.

Power optional grass campsite

Liked Very friendly welcome and good instructions from the gentleman who checked me in. Great location for me as visiting family near by and needed a overnight stay. Toilet block small but functional - I never had to queue but can imaging at busier times may have had to.
