Liked: Nice friendly helpful owners. A lovely site, plenty of wildlife friendly areas. Liked the way that all the pitches were cordoned off, in their own space with plenty of room plus nice and flat. Good amenities although didn’t use the showers. Would definitely recommend and return.
Disliked: If being picky would be the fact there were no hand drying towels in the toilets.

Liked: The site was well maintained with a beautiful view. Plenty of room for each pitch. Most had hedging around the pitch so plenty of privacy. Plenty of water taps all around Toilets and showers were nipping clean. On arrival ring the number and someone comes out and walks you to your site. On the way into the site there is the pub and the meals were delicious but if you have a dog book in advance as only 5 tables in the bar where you can bring your dog. Sunset was beautiful A fabulous site that we will visit again
Disliked: Absolutely nothing

Powered cement/asphalt and grass travel trailer campsite
Liked: The views The pub next door
Disliked: Very poor toilet and shower facilities. Despite charging a similar amount to other campsites, toilets with no toilet paper, men’s toilet had no seat, shower dirty with filter out covered with black mould, shower ‘block’ just chipboard and unplastered walls.

A lovely site, handy for nice walks, just let down by the facilities.

Liked: The pitch was lovely, we were next to the chickens and it was very peaceful and lovely views from the site. The site is next door to a pub but it was closed on a Monday which is when we were there. We had a lovely walk to Derwent Reservoir from the site. Owners friendly but could have been more available on arrival.
Disliked: Toilet and shower block very basic - chip board and plasterboard and obviously not finished. The men's toilet was missing a toilet seat which is unacceptable. It is a shame because it is the toilet and shower facilities that would probably stop us booking this site again.

Liked: The view Friendly Not too strict Toilets and showers were standard but very clean and always stocked up with hand wash and toilet roll Pub just off site was great! Really friendly staff, spent a lot of time in there on a night due to having no electric in the tent so we went there to stay warm.
Disliked: We were told we could have an electric pitch but it was half gravel/half grass. We were offered an alternative pitch but with no electric. Our baby was 12 weeks old and we had already set off to go camping. So we couldn’t use a the heater and it was freezing. We were offered a refund for the electric but haven’t received it. I just added an extra layer of clothing on for my baby and used Milton and water to sterilise her bottles. The grass pitch was a better view. Despite this we had a lovely time at Shotley bridge.
