Liked: Staff were very friendly, site was clean, the complex/bar etc was a little walk away but not too bad, a few broken amusement machines which the kids weren't happy about. But overall ok.

Liked: How clean everything was, toilet/shower block was perfect for our stay. The pub/restaurant- great food, really good price, lovely atmosphere! The pod itself- lovely space and had a fridge and table with lamp. An extra socket in pod for electricals. The site itself is beautiful- lovely walk in the morning around the lake feeding the geese and ducks. We’ve already booked to come back in July!!
Disliked: Nothing in particular, there is free WiFi but it’s not the best- much better off just using mobile data if you have it as the WiFi didn’t really work for us in the pods.

Powered cement/asphalt and grass travel trailer campsite
Liked: Very scenic. Good bar, good food, good entertainment. Very friendly hard working staff. Swimming pool is quite small but we had no problem making a booking. They must limit the numbers for each session, you get 45 mins in the pool. It was warm and there is room for family members that are not swimming to sit by the pool. It was great for us and we had a good time. There are good quality kids play areas and the site is kept very clean. There is a lovely cafe where you can get ice creams and milkshakes. We did not make the farm shop but I bet the produce is great. Will be back to do the nature walk next time and have the kids do some of the activities they put on in the kids club. £25 a night pitch is reasonable too and the pitches are spacious. Ducks wander round the site and are very friendly.
Disliked: The hot tub was out of action. The self service milk/milkshake machine was broken/leaking but we got a free milkshake in the cafe to make up for it.

Powered cement/asphalt and grass travel trailer campsite
Liked: Nice well run touring site next to and within easy walking distant of the small town of Wooler set in the beautiful rural countryside of Northumberland
Disliked: Strange set up with clubhouse bar and grill, arcade and swimming pool etc situated off site and across a main road. Not a major distance or a massive issue to us, but a bit strange. Well maintained but small toilet block which could be a problem in busy peak times
