Liked: So we stayed at Doxford campsite Monday and Tuesday night comuting to Alnwick gardens. What can I say we met the owners what a lovely family very hard working the 6 year old boy driving a grass cutter with trailer, the little girl putting eggs in the information room ( which where delicious)they are learning there children how to run the site and be aware of all the work they need to do to keep the site at the top of the game. Everything was so clean and running a glamping/wedding venue myself I know how hard that is and I don't have 3 young children. We will definitely return, the owners showing us the accommodation ( lovely ) and telling us Robson Green was visiting.the owner weed killing at 10pm? That's determination right there, well done guys x

Liked: Quiet clean well run small site. Spacious level generous grass pitches. Within a stones throw of the A1 but you don't hear it. Toilets and pot wash were kept clean by staff and had everything that we needed for a 3 night stay. There are two pot wash areas and a potable water point on the end of the toilets and showers of which there are three combined shower WC and basin cubical. At capacity it may become oversubscribed? Noticed it as the BH weekenders started to arrive.

Liked: The site was easy to find and very well presented. The site is small with only 7 van pitches which are very large giving a great feeling of space. The modern facilities were good. A great location with level pitches

Liked: Tidy site with good, clean facilities. Owners Katryna and John were lovely and couldn't have been more helpful. Weather conditions were AWFUL and all the grass pitches were unusable - John & Katryna sorted us out and made sure we had somewhere to pitch for our stay despite the ground conditions. Three toilet/shower cubicles (clean & tidy), five EHU pitches, two non-EHU pitches, small information hut, owners on-hand at short notice for assistance. Beautiful area and lots of places to visit, site was easily located and handy for the places we wanted to see.
Disliked: Nothing. The ground conditions may mean the 7 grass pitches might need upgrading in time.
