Liked: Location is good. Ease of checking in is very organised. For families wanting kids to be kids it's perfect with the 2 tree swings and ancient trees. Nice level site . Easy to get organised on arrival. Nice big pitches . Toilets dud have toilet roll and sink .
Disliked: Toilets and washing up facilities . Yes back to basics but cleanliness of the toilets was shocking .

Liked: Quiet, large pitches on the outer edge of a field. Good views to the south, basic amenities but did what they needed.
Disliked: You “officially” can’t walk anywhere. The owners of the site obviously have nothing to do with the hall because there’s signs saying “no campers beyond this point “. We ignored this but if we hadn’t there would have been no where to walk our dogs.

Liked: The area and view
Disliked: The pitch we had was a mess from previous campers with cigarette stomps, lumps of charcoal and bits of broken rubbish. The portaloo was never cleaned whilst we were there and absolutely stunk and there was only one sink for washing dishes and washing faces, it wasn’t even plumbed in l! so if you took the plug out the water would land all over your feet. Such a shame as it was such a beautiful place and could be a magnificent campsite however the efforts has just not been put in.

Liked: Forget Hall was a lovely basic pitch surrounded by beautiful views and a great ‘Lake Walk’. Our host was very friendly and checked we were all settled in. The toilets were very cleans and well kept also.
Disliked: Not a great deal to dislike here, however with a little finesse and investment in a proper bin area and maybe echo loos it would gain a higher rating.
