  • Luxury mirrored cabin on a working farm in North Yorkshire countryside
  • Richmond Castle 25 minutes’ drive; Kilburn White Horse half an hour
  • Pizza oven and hot tub; Northallerton shops five minutes’ drive
So… it’s not often you get to stay in a completely mirrored pod, but that’s exactly where you will lay your head at Ewe and Me Glamping, five minutes’ drive from the lively market town of Northallerton in North Yorkshire. This sleek and modern bolthole is set on a working farm and surrounded by a captivating countryside of fields filled with roaming sheep, and has spectacular views right to the Pennine hills. Your stylish pod has floor-to-ceiling mirrored windows so in certain lights it appears to … er … disappear into the landscape. Just the right size for couples, it has an open-plan bedroom with an ensuite bathroom (complimentary toiletries too), a well-equipped kitchenette with all vital utensils and a nifty dining area. Moving outside, there’s a paved patio wrapped around the pod, with your very own private hot tub, pizza oven and outdoor furniture. As the patio faces west, you’re in for some stunning sunsets on clear evenings, an inspiring backdrop for unwinding while you watch the sheep (and lambs in spring) graze. Pick up any bits and bobs you need in Northallerton, where you can also drop into the Yorkshire institution that is Bettys Café for afternoon tea or dine in a choice of local foodie pubs.
