What customers say

Reviewers love the clean, spacious pods with modern amenities, comfy beds, and great sound systems. Hot tubs with stunning views are a major hit for stargazing. The location is peaceful and family-friendly. Hosts are super nice, with thoughtful welcome gifts. Tech can be tricky sometimes, and guests wished for more outdoor lighting near the hot tubs.

Fescue camping pod

Liked It was very peaceful, secluded and had great views. The hot tub was amazing. Owners were lovely and very accommodating

Disliked Slightly dusty, a large brush would’ve been good to clean the floor. Took us a while to figure out the oven

Cocksfoot 1 bedroom camping pod

Liked We had a two night stay in Cocksfoot pod and absolutely loved our time here. The pod is designed to a high standard and is very well kitted out. The hosts even left us a complimentary bottle of Prosecco and homemade sweet treats, which was such a thoughtful touch. Our two young children loved the bunk bed set-up and had fun playing with the outdoor games that were provided. My husband and I spent our evenings relaxing in the hot tub and enjoying the view over the countryside. The Glamp site is well positioned; a short drive to several supermarkets in Northallerton (M&S food hall, Tesco, Lidl, Asda, Sainsbury’s) and we had days out in Whitby and Knaresborough. We would love to come back!

Disliked The Wi-Fi can be hit and miss (as already acknowledged by the hosts), although it was completely workable for a two day stay.

Cocksfoot 1 bedroom camping pod

Liked Everything about this place, the seclusion, privacy, the views. Even more so the hospitality of the owners, cakes were unreal!
Lots to do for the kids, toys provided for, bbq and charcoal included.
No need to take anything.
Central to lots of walking routes, I used the 'Kamoot' app, and found a lovely little 3miler.
Definately going back.
Would love to stay in the pod next to us, without the kids

Disliked To be very critical, the wifi could be improved, not sure if this is down to the actual location, but it didnt spoil our stay

From the manager: Thanks for the lovely review and glad you enjoyed your stay, unfortunately the wi fi coverage in this area is very hit and miss and there is very little we can do about it so we apologise for it and hope it didn't spoil your stay too much.

Exceptional, really loved our stay.

Cocksfoot 1 bedroom camping pod

Liked It was amazing break. The pod was immaculate, modern and had everything we needed in it. The location was stunning and peaceful. It felt like as you are far away from everything and at the same time Northallerton just 10 min away, with a lot of other places to visit close by.
We enjoyed hot tub. Even did star gazing from it. It was great experience.
It was good balance for children being out side playing, site visiting, hot tub and watching movies together ( WiFi was brilliant, netflix as well).
We enjoyed it so much that we stay an extra night 😊

Fescue camping pod

Liked The pod was fantastic, very clean, modern, spacious and had everything we needed. We loved the hot tub, it was very peaceful and the views were stunning. We arrived to a free bottle of Prosecco and some beautiful home made millionaires shortbread. We couldn’t have asked for a more relaxing weekend. We will definitely be returning.
