Liked: Peaceful, clean well maintained pitches. Nice pub on site which allowed dogs and children
Disliked: Slight mix up at check in with pitch numbers but was sorted within minutes. Couldn’t fault it.

Liked: Stopped for one night. Really nice place to stop. Had food from the pub and was tasty. Had to pay £1 for 2 mins in the shower but they was very clean. Very friendly staff and they would always say hi to me.

Liked: Nice big pitch. Plenty of room to leave car at side of tent or park on the car park if you want. Andy sent welcome text the morning of our arrival letting us know our pitch number. Any issues are resolved quickly

Liked: Great location, pub was amazing and the Sunday carvery was delicious, Good atmosphere and met some lovely people, added bonus of a fish and chip van that pitched on Monday as the pub restaurant was closed.
Disliked: I would just like to apologise to the other campers and the site owners for the tribe of dogs that was with us. It was my sister inlaws first time camping and her dogs have never left the house before so this led to them getting off leads/out of tents. We didn't intentionally want to upset anyone and we take full responsibility. Lesson learnt that we won't be taking so many dogs with our party going foward!

Liked: Nice , large flat gravel pitch. Family friendly site and close to the river for walks. The pub was very popular and the food was delicious. All staff were very helpful and friendly. Customer service and communication was great .
Disliked: My only niggle was access to the toilets and separate shower facilities. My mobility is compromised right now so I found them difficult to access.

Liked: Pub carvery and pudding was lovely and a good price.
Disliked: Drunken campers had my dog barking and other dogs barking on and off throughout the night until 4am when an ambulance came to take away 1 injured drunk when the site then went quiet so paid £32 to be awake all night and fot for nothing the following day!

From the manager: We do stipulate dogs must be on leads at all times. We ask everyone if there's a problem to report it to us, nobody did! Why not speak to the staff or call the out of hours number then this could of been rectified. Your penalising the site/owners. it was a very busy weekend (bank holiday) and we didn't receive 1 complaint to staff or over the phone, but you can right a long review ? Doughnut!!

Liked: Ideal for family camping with dogs, good space to play games, play area within eye shot Decent size pitches. Well away from the road. Great atmosphere with a pub on the door step. 10mins drive to the shop. Owner was very friendly and a dog lover. We will definitely be coming back.
Disliked: No real dislikes everything was just what we needed. Would be nice to have another men’s toilet.
