  • Grass pitches on a working farm with distant views of Bridlington Bay
  • Bridlington seafront 10 minutes’ drive; North Landing beach 15 minutes
  • Back-to-basics facilities; RSPB Bempton Cliffs 10 minutes' drive
Searching for that one quiet spot by the coast that’ll make you say “yes, yes, yes”? Grange Getaway might just be it. The grassy pitches have distant views of Bridlington Bay, and you need not just dream about the sea, as the Bridlington sea front is a 10-minute drive from base, and the small, scenic sandy cove of North Landing is 15 minutes away. Set on a quiet working farm, the only sounds at this site are farm traffic, cattle and wildlife. More peaceful times await around the local coast, where there are gorgeous walks over the chalk cliffs at North Landing and puffins to be spied from April to July along the RSPB Bempton Cliffs (if you’re keen and lucky enough to spot them, of course). Shops, restaurants and cafés are in plentiful supply in nearby Bridlington. There’s also a leisure centre a 15-minute drive away, with a gym and swimming pool, should you fancy keeping up your fitness schedule or going for a dip. This is a simple site suited to traditional off-grid stays. There’s no hot water or shower and toilet facilities, but there is a chemical disposal point and running mains water.

What customers say

This small, peaceful site offers lovely distant sea views and is praised for its friendly, helpful owners. Guests appreciated the clean, spacious sites, clear instructions, and convenient location for visiting Bridlington and puffin spotting. Basic amenities like water disposal and fresh water are available. While some noted the lack of toilets and showers, this was well-advised beforehand, and the owners have indicated facilities will be added in the future. Many guests expressed a desire to return.

Liked Really liked this small site. 10 pitches. Lovely distant sea view. Fabulous watching all the swallows across the fields feeding their young. Even the bins and waste area was tasteful secluded. Clear instructions on how to get there and check in. Well sign posted.

Liked Friendly, welcoming and a lovely campsite. Well kept and whilst it doesn’t have toilet and shower facilities this was well advised beforehand so we came prepared. John did advise that these were coming in the future. When I revisit the area I will definitely use this site again. It’s very well located too.

Primitive grass travel trailer campsite

Liked This is a fantastic little site. It's set on a farm, with large pitches, chemical waste, grey water, bins and fresh water. You are surrounded by countryside. There's a lovely lane to walk the dog, and the surrounding area has some great places to visit.

It's so quiet, and run by a lovely family.

We spent the evening watching the hares running in the field. It's the best place to switch off and relax. Definitely coming back.

Primitive grass travel trailer campsite

Liked Lovely site, immaculately clean, the views are amazing and especially more so when the sun is shining you can imagine being anywhere in the world. It's a very basic site as it's new but from talking to the owners in time facilities will be added. The owners couldn't be more friendly or helpful if they tried. We will most definitely be returning to this site.
