With easy access from the A12 and A14 plus 12 acres of peaceful natural land to its name, Low Farm Campsite is an excellent spot for an easy escape in a splendid Suffolk setting. This lovely location is part of the Suffolk & Essex Coast & Heaths National Landscape, and the owners of the site are doing their bit to preserve the local landscapes by returning their farmland to nature. As part of that approach, the guest areas have been designed to site nicely in the natural setting, with plenty of space so that you’ll never feel crammed in even if the place is full. The idea here is to create peaceful, simple experiences, and with that in mind the owners have set the place up as an adults-only site with just the essential facilities – guests have access to toilets, showers, a washing-up area and a chemical disposal point. Dogs are welcome as long as they’re kept on a leash on site – the area’s footpaths and open spaces mean you shouldn’t struggle to find a place for a good walk (whether you’ve got a dog or not). You’re allowed to set up a barbecue here if you’d like to do some outdoor cookery, but there are also a couple of pubs within walking distance serving up good food for those times when you don’t feel like it. Also within easy walking distance is a river beach on the River Deben, with boat trips available. Woodbridge (10 minutes’ drive) and Ipswich (20 minutes) are also close by for shops and places to eat.

Sen setting we had amazing night skies full of stars.

A view from my walk along the river. takes about 15 mins safe walk to reach the river.

Bbq time you can also hire larger fire pits and purchase firewood from reception.

Had hookup first time we stayed and wild after this Lovely campsite…

Lovely campsite great location for walk along the river Deben

Liked: Beautiful site. Over 25s. So quiet. Nice toilet block with separate showers and washing up area. pitch nice and large and flat. Definitely coming back. Near to Ipswich which has history and a lovely waterfront.

Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: Very pleasant and friendly campsite. We were on pitch 13 electric hookup next to the tap which was very convenient. Large pitch lots of space. Campsite was well kept but natural. Dog friendly. And toilets and showers very clean. Camp site is just a good walk away from two beautiful suffolk pubs both serviced fabulous food.lots to do around the location if you have a car or bikes. Great costal walks too.

Disliked: Not really disliked but wondered if four showers was sufficient for the size of campsite.

Liked: The site was very quiet considering it was the Spring Bank holiday weekend. Fantastic location. Clean toilets, showers and washing up area. Pizza van on the Sunday night.

Disliked: May have needed more showers if the site was busy.

Liked: Beautiful surrounding , on arrival we saw a deer in the fields , wide open natural surroundings . A true peaceful stay with nature , this campsite was so spacious and immaculate . Hot powerful showers and all facilities spotless . Loved everything about this place , we cant wait to go back

Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.
No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.
