Simple camping at its best
Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Relaxed, slightly quirky vibe. Simple eco-style campsite but with some lovely touches, like the fire pits and fairy light-lit toilets and shower - the owner has put a lot of effort in to make this is just right if you want a peaceful and relaxing camping experience.
The shower may be a tin shack, but it’s full of charm and I had the nicest campsite shower I’ve ever experienced!
The owner was also really helpful when our car had a flat battery.
Disliked Nothing at all

Liked I booked really last-minute, and I’m so glad I did! I was the only guest, but it would still have been wonderfully peaceful if anyone else was staying too. The shower and composting toilet made from recycled materials were ingenious and I could even shower with a view of the sunset!

Primitive grass RV campsite
Liked Wonderful eco campsite. The toilet and wash facilities are quirky which we loved. Very peaceful and plenty of space. The Queenshead pub in the village is great and there’s a co-op 6 mins drive away for supplies.
Disliked Could do with signage as you’re passing through the farm to confirm you’re heading in the right direction.

Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked An absolutely beautiful place to stay! It was just what we needed! The attention to detail on the compost toilets and the shower were a definite highlight! Absolutely gorgeous with all the fairy lights at night. Every pitch comes with its own fire pit where you can cook up some delicious meals and you can buy the wood onsite for a very good price! The location is perfect if you want to pop to several gorgeous beaches! Warm and welcoming host! Highly recommended.
